Welcome
The staff, governors, pupils and I are delighted to welcome you to the Cilâ Primary School website.
Cilâ Primary School is a very special place. Our children are happy, motivated, enthusiastic and independent learners and we are extremely proud of every single one of them. We are committed to delivering an authentic and meaningful curriculum that meets the needs of all our learners. We care. We take enormous pride in looking after our school environment and we care about each other.

We believe in the power of learning and have high aspirations for all. We have an enthusiastic, committed staff team, who are dedicated to the children and the school community. We are passionate about high quality teaching and learning. We care about inclusive practice and providing equitable support for all learners.
Our school motto, ‘Achieving, Building, Celebrating’, underpins all that we do. These are three simple words, but they hold a lot of meaning for us. At Cilâ, we believe that achieving means more than doing well in tests. Achieving is about reaching our personal goals, showing continued effort and building increasing independence. We achieve individually and together. We build positive relationships, we build resilience, and we build healthy learning habits. We also build self-esteem, team work skills and independence. Importantly, we build friendships and confidence through our curriculum and our caring school ethos. We celebrate individuality, perseverance and kindness. We acknowledge that we learn through our success and our failures too. We celebrate progress, and we celebrate one another.
The partnership we have with parents here is excellent. We believe it is vital to have an open and honest dialogue between school and home, where we work together to help children flourish, feel safe and reach their full potential. We are proud of our links with the community and the climate of trust, equality and mutual respect that exists within the school.
If you would like to visit our school, or if you have any questions, we would be delighted to welcome you here.
Kindest regards,
Mrs. Wisby
