Our school vision and values
SCHOOL VISION:
We aim to ensure that Cilâ Primary School provides a secure, caring, happy environment where every child is valued and has the opportunity to develop his/ her full potential. We treat our pupils as individuals and believe in the importance of providing an inclusive education for all. Through the Curriculum for Wales, we nurture ambitious, capable learners; enterprising, creative contributors; ethical, informed citizens; and healthy, confident individuals who are ready to play a positive role in Wales and the wider world.
Our school vision statement at Cilâ is ‘Achieving, Building, Celebrating’.

Although these are three simple words, they hold a lot of meaning for us. At Cilâ, we believe that pupils don’t just achieve high standards in tests. Achieving is about reaching personal goals, showing continued effort, engagement and increased independence. We achieve individually and we achieve together.
We build successful futures, but we also build many more things along the way. One of the most important things that we build at Cilâ is positive relationships, between pupils, between pupils and staff, and between school and our families. We have taken time to reflect on all that we build here. We want our pupils to build resilience, healthy learning habits, creativity, self-belief, skills and knowledge over time, independence, team work and communication skills, friendships and confidence to name a few!
We celebrate so many things too – we celebrate more than academic success. We celebrate individuality, inclusion, diversity, respect, perseverance, kindness, effort, learning through successes and learning through our failures too. We celebrate progress, and we celebrate one another.
